@FromAbby2You I would recommend this supplement because they have done such a fantastic job putting together what the brain needs nutritionally, you can eat well and still not get what you need. Studies have shown that our foods are 50 TIMES less nutritious than 40 years ago ,mainly minerals because of overfarming of land etc. Also recommend a book by Dr.Mark Hyman called The Ultra Mind Solution. cutting edge medicine is using proper nutrition because it is so often the root produce. Excellent Luck

  3. timacollection says:

@ironhorzmn , saying I don’t believe in nutrients is like saying I don’t believe in say…. blood , they are REQUIRED by our brains for proper function…I recommend a book by Dr.Mark Hyman called The Ultra MInd Solution. It is just pure common sense, something that is often bypassed in modern medicine because it has a bias towards pharmaceuticals that do not get to the root produce of illness. Post natal depression is common because baby has used up all of mother’s minerals, common sense.

  4. prokopton says:

@ironhorzmn I’d like to argue with you but you’ll have to do your own research into physiology and the needs of your cells. Visit encognitiveDOTcom . All the best to you.

  5. ironhorzmn says:

@prokopton More irrelevant bullshit. Neither ‘herbs’ nor ‘nutrients’ have any scientifically recognized value in the treatment of bipolar disorder. No matter what you want to call it, it’s nothing but snake oil.

I have bipolar disorder. I’ve had it for at least a decade. It’s a real illness with real causes and real medically proven treatments…none of which includes egregious quackery like yours.

You’re the one misleading public, pal. And persons poor souls who believe your crap face real risks.

  6. prokopton says:

@ironhorzmn These aren’t “herbal” supplements. You should know the difference between “herbs” and “nutrients” before making ill-informed statements and misleading public.

  7. ironhorzmn says:

    This is whole bullshit.

Treating bipolar disorder with herbal supplements is like treating diabetes with Snickers.

Advocating non-health check management of bipolar or any other mood disorder is criminally reckless considering the liable consequences including job loss, social isolation and even self-harm.

@indigone I have bipolar. I exercise, meditate, journal, have an brilliant therapist/support system, eat well, don’t drink/do drugs/smoke, i have a job & sleep well. I can tell you it isn’t the cure. I still have bipolar. It’s a biological imbalance, surely muffled by all the things listed higher than, but not cured. It’s simply a managed illness. Like a diabetic, who’s body doesn’t produce insulin, even at my healthiest, my body doesn’t produce what it needs for stabilization. It sucks, frankly.

@indigone yeah youd reflect that, unfortunately not the case though, and thats a huge fucking unfortunately

There’s a small and brilliant online depression support group called Depression Hangout that is always open to anyone who is struggling with mental shape problems (not just depression). It’s run in its own chaotic way by its members who meet regularly in the chat room and it’s a fantastic place to seek and provide help and support, make new friends and even just have a laugh. (We all need that too!) To join just go to depressionhangout-dot-blogspot-dot-com.

no harm done weirder, im bipolar as well and, God made this gorgeous plant to help public, like me. im a natural down to earth, healthful person, and i liked this video, excellent for them. we dont got to fret, i just thought to say a natural substance for a treatment of bipolar disorder, but theres always more then one way (in treatments). peace unto you and to all.

  17. cleanhomer says:

    @cleanhomer -and sorry about that!

  18. cleanhomer says:

@poltergiest11 Sorry, just toooo often, the usual voice for pot is only to get high, and I get too tired of that “noble” ideal. I have no problem using or extracting parts of cannabis for excellent reasons (I use hemp-made soap myself).
And I’m also new to having- or accepting- a bipolar disorder, so I’m trying to learn to not be so reactionary.

  19. poltergiest11 says:

    @cleanhomer
im just saying cannabis is the panacea for many many things, and it is also a natural treatment. dont have to be so obtuse, excellent day sir.

  20. cleanhomer says:

@poltergiest11 So, are we to be dependent on marijuana? What if it’s not around?
    Should we just off ourselves??

If a “normal” brain is like a volkswagen insect, then what kind of car is a bi-polar brain? Class, any suggestions?
    A Nascar?
Careful, kids. Don’t drive it too quick. You force knock a couple screws loose. Don’t forget to take your medication. Take lithium. It’s salt. It doesn’t produce death by liver failure and diabetes and liquidation like all the rest of persons new-fangled high-priced designer drugs.

  23. InvisibleRefugee2 says:

    – look up the definition in the DSM-IV and you will find that one of the “symptoms” (& considered life-threatening!) is whole denial that you have a problem. The masses of public are being at a snail’s pace BRAINWASHED by TV and magazines, trusting blindly in “authorities” who have lost their humanity in their rush to boost/protect EGO, and the hidden holocaust remains active. This is common to all history, and public don’t see how the patterns continue. Every nation denied its own domestic terrorism.

  24. InvisibleRefugee2 says:

@unityemissions – it ain’t about “fake marks”. It’s about 2 women making fake accusations and the entire system backing them up because having been a former foster kid means that for the rest of your life you are classified as a “mental defective”, “troubled” & “tangled” THOUGH ALL OF YOUR BEHAVIORS BE CONSISTENTLY OPPOSITE THAT. I have never experienced a mood swing in my life, other than a day of PMS before my period. “Bipolar” was invented so anyone with feelings can be legally raped.

  25. InvisibleRefugee2 says:

I’m talking about the REAL “issues”; the fact that the public who did this legal-illegal kidnapping and torture on me for shits, giggles, money & political, cultural & religious reasons are still out there freely “participating” in the upper classes unchecked to commit these acts of violence on anyone who comes along! I wasn’t “falsely labeled”. I was LIED ABOUT, RAILROADED, RAPED SOCIALLY, ECONOMICALLY & TORTURED — they used MORE LIES to cover what they did! Now I’m stuck w/ THEIR issues!

like most therapists hypomania has been completely played down in this video and presented as a clear creative state.

Hypomania is in fact just as destructive as mania, often more so because it goes unnoticed and undertreated for much longer periods of time. All the same behaviours take place in hypomania as in mania, just ata lower amplitude ” initially “, and without psychotic features, but hypomania usually escalates into a more moderate level of hypomania verging on mania before low.
